Lynne's Art

Though basically a self-taught artist, I have explored a variety of mediums and become most comfortable with the versatility of acrylics. I enjoy using transparent glazes over opaques and outlining shapes with ink to give a mosaic quality to my paintings.  Landscapes, florals, portraits (both human and pets), birds, semi abstracts, and home and garden portraits are my choices of subject matter and my style has been described as 'contemporary'.  After 25+ years practising and honing my skills I endeavour to produce pieces that give lasting interest and joy.
